Meet our staff...
Bekah Maddox -- Lead Instructor, Founder
Bekah was born with a passion for horses and has always had a heart to help people be the best "them" that they can be. Hearts in Harmony is a lifelong dream that has finally becoming a reality. She has spent the last 22 years investing in her horsemanship, studying with Pat and Linda Parelli, top Parelli Instructors, Karen Rohlf, and many others. She has taken courese and recieved certifications thorugh BHS (British Horse Society), ARIA (American Riding Instructors Association), NARHA (now PATH, Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), and achieved her Licensed 3 Star Parelli Professional rating. She has a bachelors degree in Equine Business Management with concentrations in Teaching, Training and Therapeutic Riding. She has worked under numerous professionls, learning all she could and has run her own teaching, training and boarding facility since 2003. She has traveled up and down the east coast teaching horsemanship clinics and helping humans be better with their horses. Bekah is passionate about helping people and is so excited to give members of her local community the opportunity to experience the healing power of horses. God has used horses in Bekah's life numerous times to provide a tangible comfort in time of need, a mirror for self-reflection, and safe place to heal. That blessing and gift is something she wants to share with all who will accept it.
Mark Maddox, Instructor
Gina Morro, Instructor
Gina worked as a behavior consultant at The Groden Center Inc., for more than 20 years. She provided behavioral and educational consultation to school departments and families in need of program development and comprehensive support for children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD, Aspergers and other challenging behaviors. She has conducted local and national trainings on the application of positive behavior support, social skills, training, purposeful integrated classrooms and innovative novel applications of functional assessment. Her professional work as a consultant and presenter in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis has been the foundation for her exploration of its application in the world of equine psychology and equine interactive programming, which she has shared with other professionals around the world. Gina is also the co-founder of Quarter Turns Institute, a private nonprofit equine learning program.
